SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A jury will resume deliberations Tuesday in a fatal hit and run trial in Syracuse. Alicia Alampi is accused of driving drunk and leaving the scene after hitting Robert Bevard on Park Street in December 2013.

The jury started deliberating Friday and told the judge Monday they needed more time.  They worked on the case through the day. They asked for clarification on the charges of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal crash without reporting it. Alampi is facing two other charges of DWI.

They also asked for a read back of testimony from a deputy who Dan Myers called the night of the incident. Myers is a sheriff's investigator who was traveling in a car behind Alampi the night of the alleged incident. The jury also re-watched a portion of the taped police interview of Alampi that night.

If convicted, Alampi could face two and a third to seven years in prison.
