BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A Buffalo man was sentenced Friday to 20 years to life in prison for stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death.
Damoni Hall, 21, pleaded guilty to second degree murder in December.
Hall's ex-girlfriend, Tequila Suter, was found dead in her Lackawanna apartment on Feb. 15, 2014. She was 26.
Prosecutors said that Hall stabbed Suter 39 times. Surveillance video, cell tower data and DNA analysis helped police identify Hall as the killer.
