More than 20 million ballots have already been cast ahead of Election Day as early voting is underway in some parts of the country.

In New York, early voting begins this Saturday and lasts until Sunday, Nov. 3.

Election officials have worked year-round to make sure the elections are accurate, safe and accessible for voters.

Benjamin Hovland, chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, joined “News All Day” on Wednesday to discuss the process gearing up for election day.
