BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Benevolent Association, New York State Troopers PBA and the Erie County Sheriff's PBA are all endorsing incumbent Mayor Byron Brown for re-election.

Officials with those groups say Mayor Brown has given local police officers the tools needed to make Buffalo a safer place to live, work and raise a family over the past 20 years.

Mayor Brown, who is running a write-in campaign against India Walton, says he is honored to receive these endorsements.

Election Day is just three weeks away on November 2.
