Eight Days of Hope Buffalo and KeyBank are teaming up to help repair homes in Buffalo's Masten District.

Eight Days of Hope is an all-volunteer organization. In 2019, volunteers worked on more than 370 homes in the university district.

This year's event will take place from July 17 to July 24. Homeowners in the Masten District will need to submit an application. If you are picked, you'll also be asked to submit a list of five things that need to be repaired. Some projects volunteers can help with include panting, roofing, carpentry and landscaping.

The organization is always looking for people to give back.

"This is not about us, this is about Buffalo helping Buffalo,” Eight Days of Hope president and CEO Steve Tybor III said. “This is about Western New York saying 'you know what we've just come through a really tough season but we've got your back.'"
