The visas of some students from a pair of Southern Tier colleges have been revoked.

At Cornell University, 17 past and current students have had their Student and Exchange Visitor Information System student status terminated.  

Cornell officials went on to say four of those individuals also had their visas revoked. 

In addition, Binghamton University officials confirmed that they are helping five impacted students.   

They are among 1,000 international students across the country who have either had their visas terminated or status revoked.
