The Buffalo Public School District says it's putting protective measures in place after a virtual learning platform linked users to porn.
Parents and students received inappropriate messages from group chats on the Schoology app.
They included links to the Pornhub website and sexual images and videos. The district says a group of students created a group chat on the app and invited others to join.
The IT department has put measures in place to prevent students from forming groups and repeating this incident in the future.
BPS says the students who inappropriately used the learning platform could face discipline.
