Learn4Life is a network of schools out of California that caters to students who have aged out of high school.

That's students who have dropped out or are in danger of dropping out up to 21-years of age. The organization’s advocates say it’s a needed resource in Buffalo when so many don’t know if they will get to go back to school during the pandemic.

"In this time of COVID they’re doing exactly what we need to be able to do, to allow our students to be able to work independently , to be able to get those courses that they need to be able to gain that high school equivalency diploma,” Buffalo Urban League President Brenda McDuffie. “It presents them a unique opportunity that we know that works"

If opened, the school would provide free tuition and a flexible class schedule.

The next step is getting your feedback. There will be a community town hall discussion Friday may 8th.
