CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. --- Three youthful offenders police allege robbed a 17-year-old of his sneakers and backpack at gunpoint in Cheektowaga were later arrested in Buffalo.
Police say the victim was selling the shoes, and arranged to meet the buyer Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Awood Place and Genesee Street.
Investigators with the Cheektowaga Police Department said three people showed up, robbed the victim, and drove off.
Police said all three were later pulled over in Buffalo and charged with robbery, assault, reckless endangerment and petit larceny.
The victim was not seriously hurt, according to police.
