BUFFALO, N.Y. – A man is dead after Buffalo police say he was shot on the city’s East side.
Sunday's homicide was the fifth in the city in the past 11 days.
Police say Ivan Parks, 23, was shot around 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the first block of Ruhland Avenue. The man died a short time later.
This shooting comes two days after Norman Fullenweider, 19, and Jermaine Moss, 21, were shot on Fillmore Avenue. Police say the two men were sitting in a parked car when a pair of suspects opened fire on the vehicle.
Authorities say the shootings are gang-related.
