IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. – A Rochester man is accused of robbing the East Ridge Road M&T Bank in Irondequoit just after noon on Wednesday.
Irondequoit police expect James Crowder to be arraigned on robbery and grand larceny charges.
Officials say Crowder passed a note to the teller demanding money.
No weapon was displayed and no one was injured in the robbery.
Later in the afternoon, officers say, Crowder was spotted on Portland Avenue at the border of Rochester and Irondequoit and taken into custody.
