A 24-year-old man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend in South Buffalo has been arraigned.
Shane Casado is charged with second-degree murder.
Police say he shot his girlfriend, 22-year-old Rachael Wierzbicki, outside a home on Edson Street following a domestic incident Tuesday night.
She was taken to ECMC where she later died.
Casado is expected to be back in court next month.
He faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
