BUFFALO, N.Y. — As many Americans face unemployment, a local company may have an opportunity for you.

Appleone, a local recruitment agency, is working in conjunction with the New York State COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline.

The job requires fielding phone calls and answering questions about vaccine eligibility and more.

Pay is $16.50/hr. for a representative and $17/hr. if you are bilingual in spanish and english.

Supervisors will make $26/hr.

The branch manager, John Logal, says the hiring process may only take one week. They're hoping this can be an opportunity for anybody looking for work.

"The first couple days on assignment would be training for the position. For the regular call center position, obviously call center experience would be preferred, but any sort of customer service, retail, food service experience is relatable to this position. You know we are just happy to be able to be here to help people and there are so many open positions with so many people out of work, this is an awesome opportunity," said Logal.

These positions are work from home roles and you must own a computer or laptop.

Since the call center will be open seven days a week, including holidays, they will need people who are willing to work flexible hours.
