NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Nik Wallenda’s Niagara Falls tightrope
It’s been 10 years since aerialist Nik Wallenda walked on a 5 centimeter tight rope across Niagara Falls.
Kelly Khatib is near the falls with a look at how the city is celebrating this anniversary.
At Terrapin Point, Wallenda became the first person to walk directly over the falls on a high wire, an astonishing feat accomplished in just 26 minutes while millions watched breathlessly as he battled the mist 200 feet in the air.
