A busy ramp from I-690 West to I-81 South in downtown Syracuse is closed during much of the day as of this morning. 

The ramp will be closed from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. through Thursday.

State transportation officials say the closure is needed so workers can make repairs. Be on the lookout for detours.
