Syracuse officials want to help residents imagine a world without traffic fatalities and injuries.
City leaders announced Friday a set of open houses to share the goals behind the Vision Zero Initiative, which aims to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries and also increase safety and equitable mobility.
They are looking to develop an action plan as leaders look to make more safety decisions for the city.
The first open house will be taking place on Feb. 18 at Soule Branch Library from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Three other events will be held throughout February.
