The holiday season may technically be over, but you can still get a taste of the magic in Elmira. Drivers can tour a Christmas light display for the first time at a local farm.

“[We] broadcast our own Christmas music on our own station they can listen to while they’re going through,” said Bradley Farms Owner Dan Hurley.

It took three years of preparation to transform a farm field into Twinkle Town.

“We had to build over a mile of two-lane road. We started finding product, we started to put the show together, and it took us that long to get to where we are tonight,” said Hurley.

The holiday light show is filled with all kinds of family favorites, from Christmas trees, to elves, to penguins. As far as how many LED bulbs you’ll see, that number is in the hundreds of thousands. It's so many bulbs, Hurley says they’ve simply lost count while setting up.

“We also wanted to have things that would be appealing to all generations, whether it was grandparents or children, grandchildren, something they could all come together and enjoy the show together," said Hurley.

“I think they were so cool. I think it was really fun to see the ones that were moving and stuff so it looked like they were actually doing the things they were supposed to represent,” said Chemung resident Ashley Shultz.

The Bradley Farms Christmas lights spectacular is the only drive-through holiday light show in the Elmira area.

“We loved the blue lighted trees, and the red, white, and blue in the center," said Kelly Bonniger, from Gaines, Pennsylvania.

“Several things we even built ourselves. We have several 20-foot trees, that are all in red, white, and blue down the middle of the display, those are something we worked on for almost a year to build,” said Hurley. “We’re trying to create a tradition they’re going to want to come back and do every year. And I think we are getting in that direction.”

“Definitely, I would do it again next year,” Shultz said.
