A million-dollar police bust in Deposit is one of the largest in Broome County history.

On Friday, the county's Special Investigations Task Force raided a home on Wheeler Street in the village.

Investigators found more than two pounds of heroin, more than two pounds of fentanyl and more than four pounds of meth. The task force also recovered nearly $24,000 in cash.

Police arrested 30-year-old Johnnah DeGraw and 36-year-old Marlon Graham.

Sheriff David Harder says a massive bust like this can go a long way in helping get drugs off the streets.

"There's a market, unfortunately, out there for the drugs that are going on, and these people take advantage of that and because of that, we end up with more people overdosing, [and] more people getting hooked on whatever drug they're trying," said Harder.

Police say a 3-month-old child was in the home at the time of the search.
