Shoppers say goodbye as the doors close for good at a well-known toy chain.

Wednesday marked the last day in business for the Toys R Us in Johnson City. The store had been open for more than 25 years.

Many people were taking advantage of last minute deals, with shoppers getting whatever was left for 90 percent off. Longtime customers says it's not the sales they will remember.

"Well I feel like you know, I've been going to Toys R Us since I was a small kid and everything," said Hunain Mujahid, a Johnson City resident. "So you know it's kind of a shock to see them going out of business because I know a lot of people who still go there."

Toys R Us stores across the United States and Puerto Rico will officially be shut down by Friday.
