The Army Golden Knights landed on the field at NYSEG Stadium before Friday night's Rumble Ponies game.

Ten of the members jumped from 12,500 feet.

Local families had a chance to see them perform ahead of the Greater Binghamton Air Show, which is returning to the area after four years.

A Golden Knights member says he was excited to jump in Broome County for the first time.

"I just love the oppurtunity to take the Army to people who will possibly never see us again or see any part of the Army," said Rich Young, an Army Golden Knights member. "It's a great experience and it's always fun to see the smiles on little kids' faces."

The Golden Knights will also be performing at the Greater Binghamton Air Show on Saturday.

The show runs from noon to 4 p.m.
