VESTAL, N.Y. -- Some popular names could soon be on their way to the ever-growing Vestal Parkway.
The town supervisor tells us 'Firehouse Subs' will soon open in the former Jimmy John's building on the East end of the parkway.
He's also been contacted by Chick-Fil-A and Trader Joe's who are both interested in bringing their chains to the Southern Tier.
And less than a mile from Binghamton University, the excavation process has begun on a brand new Hilton hotel.
With the parkway now close to capacity, officials are looking at new ways to bring in businesses.
"We are trying to develop another parcel close to the parkway for future expansion. A lot of interest in it. We're working with developers and our town engineer to make it come to fruition," said John Schaffer, (D) Vestal Town Supervisor.
The town supervisor tells us a developer is also in contact with Buffalo Wild Wings.
The two parties are discussing a possible location.
