GEDDES, N.Y. -- The biggest gun show in the state is back at the New York State Fairgrounds this weekend.

The Syracuse Gun Show features hundreds of vendors from across the United States and Canada.

Showgoers can buy items like swords, revolvers, muskets, military relics, accessories and more.

Officials say a lot of the customers are collectors.

"A lot of these guys just buy this stuff and put it on their wall to look at it, and that's their hobby," said Doug Roberts, NYS Arms co-director. "Some people collect cars or coins and these guys collect firearms and swords."

Background checks are done and permits are needed for some of the purchases.

The show continues Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
