A 28-year-old man is headed to prison for his role in a deadly DWI crash in Nassau back in 2015.
Edward Ferguson, 28, received the max sentence in court.
Ferguson was driving drunk on Route 20 when he went to make a left turn, and turned into the path of an oncoming car.
A rear seat passenger in Ferguson's car, 28-year-old Christopher Sharpley, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ferguson will now spend 8 and 1/3 to 25 years in prison.
