AUSTIN, Texas — The city of Austin has come up with a revised land development code, and they want to hear what you think.

The plan is called CodeNEXT, and is the city's initiative that determines how land can be used, including what can be built and where.

As the city works towards this goal, they want your input. Several open district meetings are planned.

The next one is this Saturday at Lanier High School from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Additional meeting dates include:

  • 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. March 4, Lyndon B. Johnson Early College High School, 7309 Lazy Creek Drive
  • Noon to 2 p.m. March 25, Stephen F. Austin High School, 1715 Cesar Chavez St.
  • Noon to 2 p.m. April 1, Westwood High School, 12400 Mellow Meadow Drive
