Car Crashes into DOT Plow Clearing Snow from 9G Overpass in Rhinebeck

A car crashed into a DOT front-end loader while crews were clearing snow buildup from the Route 9G overpass over route 308.

It happened around 5:30 Thursday morning in Rhinebeck.

The Rhinebeck Fire Department says the car was traveling northbound when crossed over the center line and hit the loader.

The driver of the car refused medical assistance, the operator of the loader was taken to Northern Dutchess Hospital for further evaluation.
