NEW YORK - The New York City Police Department has put out surveillance video of a daring smash-and-grab jewelry heist in Manhattan.

The two men walked into the Jaeger-Lecoultre Jewelry Store on Madison Avenue near East 62nd Street Monday morning.

Once inside, one of the men pulled a gun and forced three workers to lay on the floor.

His accomplice took out a claw hammer and smashed open two of the display cases.

The men ran off with five watches worth $300,000 in total.

No injuries were reported.
