ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A man is facing life threatening injuries after a shooting on Rochester's northwest side early Saturday morning.

Police were called to Lexington Avenue west of Dewey Avenue just before 4 a.m. for the report of a man shot. There, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in his upper body and was rushed to the hospital.

Authorities haven't taken any suspects into custody as of yet. The investigation is ongoing.
