BUFFALO, N.Y. --Governor Andrew Cuomo has nominated Buffalo's mayor to the State University of New York
Board of Trustees.
The governor appoints 15 of the 18 members.
Mayor Byron Brown has been nominated to serve as a Trustee of the SUNY board of trustees.
The mayor was elected to a third term in 2012.
Brown is currently on the governor's New York Works Task Force, the Wage board and the Governor's Regional Economic Development Council in Western New York.
