ENDWELL N.Y. -- State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a well-known spiedie spot in Broome County.

Investigators say around 9:50 Tuesday night, a man wearing a mask walked into Lupo's Char-Pit in Endwell. The suspect displayed a handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Troopers say the robbery is similar to one from earlier this month at Manley's Gas Station in Endwell and now are asking for the public's help.

"Our investigation is ongoing. We're hoping for some help from the community. We're hoping some people can give us some tips on who this person might be. We've trying to develop a vehicle that we think was used in this," said NYS Police Troop C Senior Investigator Michael Franz.

The suspect is described a male with a thin build, wearing a white hoodie, blue pants, gray gloves and a dark ski mask.

They are also looking for information about a light-colored SUV, possibily a Ford Explorer or Toyota Pathfinder that was in the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at 607-754-3854.
