Voters in the Jordan-Elbridge school district will return to the polls to vote again on June 17 — this time on a revised budget.

But first, there will be a public budget presentation Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the middle school.

By law, if a budget failed in last week's vote, though a district isn't required to hold a re-vote, an altered budget has to be completed at least a week before the budget hearing, and a vote on a changed budget must take place on June 17 unless it would conflict with a religious observance.

Jordan-Elbridge was one of six school districts in the region whose budget proposal failed.
