Police discover new evidence linked to the man they believe is responsible for a deadly double shooting on Staten Island.

Law enforcement sources tell NY1 that Ricky Dennis' fingerprints were found at the crime scene, and his car was recorded crossing from Brooklyn to Staten Island before the shooting.

They said his car was also spotted leaving the scene.

Police say a masked gunman shot two men in the back of the head around 6 p.m. Tuesday night inside Universal Merchant Funding in Dongan Hills.

57-year old Michael Genovese was killed, along with a second man identified as 52-year-old Carl Clark.

Dennis was in court on Thursday but has not been charged in connection with the shooting.

He is being detained for a federal parole violation as prosecutors tried to connect him to the attack.
