State Police have two men in custody who they say are responsible for shooting the windows out of businesses and parked cars all over the Elmira area.

This past Friday into Saturday, there were reports of nearly 75 incidents where windows were shattered -- about 50 in Elmira and nearly a dozen in the County Route 64 retail corridor.

Stores like Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods and AT&T were hit, as was First Arena.

Troopers arrested 21-year-old Cody Keller of Waverly, and 20-year-old Jayden Elia of Spencer, charging them with one count each of criminal mischief, but police say additional charges will be filed once all of the victims have been identified and the total cost of damage is added up.

Police say the pair used two stolen, high-powered pellet guns to do the damage.

They were jailed in the town of Horseheads on $10,000 bail.
