El Paso will see a chance of rain and storms today, drying out by Tuesday. A few more rounds of storms will be possible this week for parts of Texas.

The best chance of rain will be for North Texas and the Metroplex, stretching toward Central Texas and Austin. Tuesday through Thursday look to be the best days for rain.

Toward the end of the week, a ridge of high pressure will begin to settle over Texas. This will bring temperatures closer to triple digits for many areas.

No tropical development is expected in the Atlantic or Gulf over the next seven days.
