Very hot temperatures continue in the Desert Southwest with dangerous heat likely in places like Phoenix and Las Vegas. More seasonable conditions will continue acorss much of the rest of the nation with the Northeast experiencing below average temperatures.

Seasonable temperatures expected in most of the country. Slightly cooler from the Pacific Northwest to the northeastern U.S.

Precipitation Outlook

Rounds of storms likely in the Northern Plains and Midwest. More summer storms are expected for much of the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic with potential for flooding rain.
