CINCINNATI — The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio announced in a release that a Cincinnati man was sentenced in federal court to 99 months in prison for conspiring the distribution of drugs.

Terrell Kirkland, 40, conspired to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine out of a house on Vine Street, according to the release. 

He would broker drug transactions and then meet customers at a separate location, then bring them to the residence. He received a portion of the profits, the release stated.

In April 2024, law enforcement made two controlled purchases of cocaine at the residence, and in May 2024, Kirkland and his co-defendant, Ricky Cannon, were indicted by a federal grand jury. 

Kirtland pleaded guilty in January, and Cannon also pleaded guilty. Cannon has yet to be sentenced.
