Currently, patients can use MyChart to view upcoming appointments, schedule appointments, view prescription lists and order refills, as well as message providers and view test results.

"Our teams are actively working to fully restore the application to its previous functionality as soon and as safely as possible," Kettering Health wrote in a statement.

Additionally, the health system said all surgeries have resumed, including scheduling for elective surgeries.

"We would like to offer a special thank you to our surgical teams and patients for their understanding during this difficult time," Kettering Health wrote in a statement.

Kettering Health was first affected by a cybersecurity incident on May 20. It said the attack was launched by ransomware group Interlock. The outage caused some surgeries to get canceled or postponed, shut down the call center and eventually led to issues with scam texts and calls. Kettering Health is still warning about the scams, and asked that partners and members of the community who receive them to not respond, don't click links or open attachments and to hang up immediately. All suspicious messages should be reported to police, the health system said.

Kettering Health CEO previously said in an update that what they do know is that the breach affected a "relatively small subset" of data. He said once an analysis is complete, impacted individuals will be contacted.

"We have strong confidence that our network-connected devices are secure, and our connections to our partners are fully protected," Kettering Health wrote in a statement.
