Honolulu Zoo officials have closed the zoo earlier than usual on Friday because of a broken water line at the facility.
Repairs to the broken water line required the zoo’s closure at noon, according to a news release.
The City’s Department of Enterprise Services, which manages the Honolulu Zoo, said it would provide an update regarding the facility’s reopening, but the zoo is expected to be closed for at least the remainder of Friday.
Last week on Wednesday, the City closed the Honolulu Zoo early — also because of a water line break.
