CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Stephen "Steph" and Ayesha Curry have announced the birth of their first son.

In separate Instagram posts, the couple says Canon W. Jack Curry was born on July 2, 2018. 

They have two other children, Riley Curry, 5, and Ryan Curry, 2. 

Both Steph was born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Charlotte, attending Charlotte Christian School.

Steph Curry went to Davidson College before leaving his senior year for the NBA draft. He has played for the Golden State Warriors since 2009. 

Ayesha Curry is an actress, celebrity chef and television personality, most known for hosting Ayesha's Homemade on The Food Network.

Ayesha moved from Toronto to Charlotte at 14, attending Weddington High School in Weddington before moving to Hollywood to pursue an acting career.
