A group of Western New Yorkers want to stop Judge Amy Coney Barrett from being confirmed to the United States Supreme Court.
Protesters dressed as handmaids from the Hulu series Handmaid's Tale. In the series, and the book it is based on, women are subjected and have no liberties.
They are calling on New York Senator Chuck Schumer to do everything he can to stop the senate, and convince lawmakers to wait until the next president is inaugurated to confirm a justice.

Protesters say Barrett's nomination could hurt LGBTQ, reproduction, and voting rights.
”We are futuristic boasts of what could happen if we lose sight of our constitutional rights and civil rights,” protest organizer Heather Connor. “And if we have a totally conservative court, that supreme court, that could very well happen.”
Protesters are urging New Yorkers to call their lawmakers in protest.
