While many may still be spending time wrapped up in March Madness, plenty of other events are going on during this last weekend before April.
We've put together a list of happenings, including a bluegrass bash, an orchid festival and a bunch of food festivals—so we hope you're hungry.
You'll be wondering whether you're in Greece or North Carolina at the Greek Festival in Greenville this weekend, aside from the views.
Event organizers said there will be authentic Greek food, a Greek market, singing and dancing.
The Holy Cross Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church is holding the festival Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Post, located at 39403 Saint Andrews Drive.
"Come and celebrate the rich traditions of Greece with us!" event organizers said.
Proceeds will benefit the church.
Charlotte Latino Film Festival
Take in 10-award-winning films from Latin America at the Charlotte Latino Film Festival, which runs Thursday through April 6. There will also be a short block film that was made in North Carolina.
Expect pre-screening receptions, talkbacks and parties. It's all happening at Independent Picture House, located at 4237 Raleigh Street in Charlotte. It's the city's only nonprofit community cinema.
There will be a free workshop Saturday for artists and storytellers looking to complete any creative projects they may be working on.
According to event organizers, Majida Issa, known for her role as La Diabla in Sin Senos Si Hay, is scheduled to attend.
Walk through the world of orchids at the Asheville Orchid Festival this weekend. What better way to welcome spring?
Guests can expect a guided tour through orchid exhibits and an orchid repoting workshop. It's happening Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Carolina Arboretum, located on Fredrick Law Olmsted Way.
There is also a preview happening Friday from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., which is open to the public.
Admission is free for those age 12 and under, and for members of the Western North Carolina Orchid Society. Click here to become a member.

Join Alice in Wonderland, or in Raleigh, on a journey down the rabbit hole. The Carolina Ballet is performing Alice in Wonderland through March 30 at Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh.

If you missed the Harlem Globetrotters in Greensboro Wednesday, catch them in Boone on Saturday as they continue on their 2025 world tour. They'll be at the Holmes Convocation Center, located at 111 Rivers Street.
"Don’t miss your chance to see what fans love about the Harlem Globetrotters plus more as the world-famous Globetrotters level-up every game with all-new, exciting challenges in 2025!" event organizers said.
Multiple passes are available to purchase, including a pre-game experience, a celebrity court pass and a VIP bench ticket.
Cue the banjo music. Enjoy BBQ, local brews and "toe-tappin'" bluegrass music at Thailand Hall in Wilmington Friday night.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Massive Grass, The General Assembly, and Sail Away Ladies will all be performing.

Spring Hootenanny And Foodie Festival
Hootenanny, hootenanny, hootenanny!
Head to Raleigh and taste your way through 20 local food vendors serving up southern bites and drinks. The Spring Hootenanny and Foodie Festival is happening Saturday at the State Fairgrounds, located at the James B Hunt Horse Complex on Trinity Road.
The whole family is sure to have a blast with bounce houses, axe throwing, music and even inflatable bull riding.
"We’re taking over the James B Hunt Horse Complex for an unforgettable foodie experience that you won’t find anywhere else!" event organizers said.
The participating vendors will be handing out bites of food and it's all included in admission. The event starts at 3 p.m. and wraps up at 7 p.m.

Get a taste of Wilmington this weekend in a food event in the area's historic downtown. Feast Wilmington is happening Saturday and Sunday. Event organizers said it's the perfect time to "taste, sip, savor and celebrate" your way through the food festival.
Those interested can expect a pier party and brunch. There will be 20 breweries paired with 20 chefs for unique pairings, so guests can enjoy samplings while listening to live music.

We're continuing on the food train since we're already getting hungry.
Head to Raleigh for three days of food, culture and community. The Foodees Food Culture Festival runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Triangle Town Center. There will be more than 40 food trucks and more than 60 crafters.
Kids are guaranteed to have fun with games, inflatables and a "fun park."

Cabarrus Burger Madness returned several weeks ago for a month-long celebration.
The contest features 20 restaurants. "This friendly, bragging-rights competition showcases the culinary creativity of our chefs and gives diners exciting new dishes to try," event organizers said.
