HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. – A North Carolina-based moving company says clients are still calling, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Miracle Movers say business is down just 10 percent overall.
The company helped a family move to a new home in Holly Springs on Saturday.
Homeowner Greg Kline says up until today, the process of buying a new house in a pandemic was mostly virtual, but of course, there was no way to get around physically moving furniture from point A to B.
“We were really worried about a few parts, especially the moving parts, so we're lucky we found the company to move last minute because all the other possibilities were not available anymore," Kline said.
Miracle Movers has asked its employees to wear masks and is telling clients they can postpone moving dates, if they feel uncomfortable.
Employee temperatures are checked before their shifts.
