RALEIGH, N.C. -- The world continues to remember basketball great Kobe Bryant.

The iconic Laker left his mark seemingly everywhere, including right here in Raleigh.

Monday, Spectrum News talked to former NBA draft pick and Appalachian State University basketall player Darryl Robinson about the loss of Kobe Bryant.

"Its all over the radio, I listen to sports radio, it's all over the tv, I'm taking it in bits and pieces. But its hard to process, someone so young, someone so gifted you can see turned into a family guy, it's hard to process and it's depressing," Robinson said.

Other local fans took to the Hillsborough Street YMCA, Monday.

Many said just playing the game Kobe loved is helping them get through this difficult time.
