RALEIGH, N.C. – Axe throwing bars have become popular, and a new one is opening in Raleigh.

Crazy Axe is the newest recreational axe-throwing venue in the Triangle. The owners believe patrons will be looking for an escape.

“People go to forget about life, escape reality. It’s someone coming out of the cubicle or something else like that at work, lot of stresss, and they can come here and just throw an axe and release stress,” Crazy Axe co-owner David Ingrassano says.

The bar has had a soft opening and will be opening permanently this weekend, despite still waiting for a beer license.
