The company Criticality held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new 55,000 square foot facility Tuesday.

The state of the art facility will process locally grown hemp to be used in the company's CBD products.

Company leaders say they selected Wilson to host the facility because of its agricultural roots.

"We’re doing as much as we can through our partners and working directly with farmers to make sure it’s an extremely viable and profitable and marketable product moving forward,” said Criticality CEO Brian Moyer.

The hemp facility is expected to generate about 88 jobs within the next five years with an average salary of about $44,000.
