RALEIGH, N.C. -- A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a southeast Raleigh home where three people were tied up with zip ties.

Russell Lee Watkins broke into the occupied home on December 17 and after threatening and tying the three people up, he left with an Xbox One, a diamond ring, an iPhone, a computer, and keys to a Mercedes.

He took the ring to a pawn shop in exchange for $100.

Watkins is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree burglary, and second degree kidnapping.
