RALEIGH- Two men are now facing charges for an early morning armed robbery in Raleigh.
- Police have charged Dekenneth Covington and Jaylen Steele
- Police say they forced their way into an apartment on Farris Court and stole several items
- The suspects then drove the SUV to Durham where they led police in a chase before crashing the vehicle
Police have charged Dekenneth Covington and Jaylen Steele with several charges including robbery with a dangerous weapon and second degree kidnapping.
Police say they forced their way into an apartment on Farris Court and stole several items, including the keys to a GMC Envoy.
The suspects then drove the SUV to Durham where they led police in a chase before crashing the vehicle.
No officers or other people were hurt in the chase and crash.
Both men are expected before a Wake County judge Tuesday and in Durham on Friday.
