RALEIGH, N.C. -- Police have linked a man who tried to escape authorities last week in Garner to a Raleigh home invasion and shooting that happened on March 24.

Willonte Miller-Torres was arrested this week in connection ot a police chase in Garner.

Miller-Torres was originally wanted in connection to a March 16 armed robbery in Raleigh when Garner Police pursued him.

Authorities have now added charges against him including roberry with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon in connection to a home invasion.

That incident happened when police say three men forced their way into an apartment on Bashford Road where one man was shot.
