GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A Greensboro man will spend the next 25 years in jail after he accepted a plea deal Thursday for the shooting death of a food delivery driver.
Jeremy Carter, 23, could have faced the death penalty.
Bakri Khidir Mohamed Khidir was shot to death on Oct. 11, 2015 after delivering food to a vacant house on Farlow Drive.
Carter pleaded guilty to second degree murder.
The maximum time in prison he could face is 32 years.
