SHELBY, Ala. -- The Colonial Pipeline was successfully restarted Sunday morning.
Officials with the gas pipeline, however, say it could take several days for the fuel delivery supply chain to return to normal service.
An explosion happened along the pipeline in Alabama on Oct. 31 killing one person.
The gas pipeline supplies 70-percent of fuel to North Carolina.
