FAYETTEVILLE-The Prince Charles Hotel has witnessed many efforts to keep it open in some form during its 91 year history. Plans now call for renovating the landmark downtown building and turning it into rental apartments. City leaders are excited about this effort and are anxious to negotiate with those investors to also develop the land that surrounds the Prince Charles Hotel.
